Packaging - These gases are provided in an aluminum lecture bottle which
ensures there will be no change in gas contents due to oxidation or
particulate contamination. The aluminum lecture bottle and quality of the
gases provided result in a long product shelf life without compromise. The
overall cost of the product per surgical application is very economical.
Clinical Application
Usage - It is estimated that approximately 750 -800 cases can be supported
by one lecture bottle. However, due to variations in preparation and gas
delivery techniques, as well as differences in application, actual
procedures per bottle might vary.
Gas Preparation - Individual technique and apparatus will vary according to
surgeon's preference and procedure, such as General Retinal Tamponade or
Pneumatic Retinopexy.
