Specialty Gases

Concorde offers a selection of gases, used in a variety of applications. All of these gases exceed industry standards for purity, and offer the lowest moisture content (ppm). Concorde guarantees that its prices offer the lowest cost per cylinder, and therefore the lowest cost per application. All of our gases are available in a choice of cylindrical sizes.

Fluorinated gases are often used in refrigeration and air conditioning systems and electronics production.

Concorde sells and distributes fluorinated gases such as:

• Tetrafluoromethane (R-14, CF4)
• Trifluoromethane (R-23, CHF3)
• Octafluorocyclobutane (R-318, C4F8); and
• Perfluoropropane (R-218, C3F8).

Xenon gas is used in gas-filled electron tubes and specialty lighting, as well as some lasers, window insulation, medical applications and R & D.

Krypton, another rare gas, is used for lighting with high speed photography, excimer lasers, as well as electronics manufacturing and R & D applications.

Neon gas is primarily utilized by the lighting industry for advertising, but is also used as a refrigerant, high voltage indicators and tubes for electronics.
